I posted earlier I walked around the homestead and took pictures, so some of the flowers, beds, and pots are not of my own making but a collaborative effort. As I sit here, I hear the birds chirping and they start at four in the morning but it is such a beautiful sound.  Today I saw a white spotted owl perched atop a stump looking down at a pond that houses a bounty of frogs and gold-fish.  I think he will not be hungry today 🙂

Beets and Cabbage.

Love this picture for the pattern.

Brussels Sprout

Juga a great ground cover.

I actually use  Lithospermum in my pots but it makes a great ground cover and especially in a rockery.

I think the Passion Flower is my absolute favorite, I have had several vines, a couple I was able to keep through the winter.  This Passion flower vine and Jasmine vine were gifts from my daughter.  I will certainly keep you updated as they grow, thrive and blossom.

Sweet Woodruff is beautiful, blooms early, and blooms all season.  It has wonderful medicinal qualities as well.  This year I have added it to some of my hanging planters and pots because it spreads so well and it is a dainty addition.

This yurt is my daughters art studio, has a solar panel, but from spring till fall it always has something blooming around it.  It is wonderful to walk by this eye candy every day.
